Pro Tip

When it comes to cooking turkey, don't be a hero: use a meat thermometer. The general rule is to cook it 13 minutes for every pound of turkey, but the safest and easiest way to roast the perfect turkey is by using an intant-read thermometer. It takes all of the guess work out of roasting, and avoids undercooking or overcooking the protein. So stick that prob into the thickest part of the breast, the thickest part of the thigh and the innermost part of the wing.

  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 20-22 lbs turkey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and set the oven rack to the lowest shelf.
